Damn Tall Buildings draws on early 20th-century Americana and bluegrass music to create songs for a modern audience. Dubbed “the Carter Family for the millennial generation” (The Boston Globe), the band has recently appeared at the Philadelphia Folk Festival, the GreyFox Bluegrass Festival, and the FreshGrass Festival, where they were awarded 2nd place in the 2016 band competition. Damn Tall Buildings sold out Club Passim and Thunder Road -- this is your chance to see them! Band co-founder Avery Ballotta, a Berklee alumnus, lives and scores films in Union Square.
Called "a special hangout for local roots musicians" by Steve Morse, Sally O'Brien's Bar & Grill is in the heart of Union Square. Sally's was established in 2003. This is a free show!
